First Galaxy Gear updated, now runs Tizen.

Samsung recently announced that it's going to update it's first Galaxy Gear to Tizen, now the update has been delivered to all owners of the said device.

Though the change into Tizen sounds a huge update, there is only minimal changes to the user interface and some features itself. What the update actually brings is a standalone music player, which allows you to play songs directly from the Gear without the need for your device. You could update your Gear via Kies by connecting it to your PC and launching the Kies Application.
