This year Google has announced the next version of Android.. L.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ud7Cu6YZTFc/U6saoohqftI/AAAAAAAABm8/zO0JjdcSHaI/s1600/androidL.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ud7Cu6YZTFc/U6saoohqftI/AAAAAAAABm8/zO0JjdcSHaI/s1600/androidL.jpg" height="361" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So what is Android L stands for? well that part is not announced or finalized yet, but it surely would be announced before Android L is officially released. Android L is said to come by Fall this year, but developers would be able to view and install the developer preview version of Android L on their devices, specifically Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013), though others like the Nexus 4 might have it too. So what is new in Android L? A bunch! and by bunch we mean tons. First is the UI overhaul, Android L would feature a User Interface that is flat, easy to use and the same across different devices. Google also stated that Android L has received Performance updates! also Google has announced Project Volta which would give Android L better battery management and a Power Save mode which they say is very much effective.</span>Gerard Lardizabalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10189757963834878557noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699187977826369564.post-18278898803838981042014-06-14T09:53:00.000-07:002014-06-14T09:53:58.090-07:00Galaxy S5 rumored to get Android 4.4.3 this month, Galaxy S4 to follow<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Google just released Android 4.4.3 no too long ago, and we all know who has first dibs on the update, the Nexus Devices, Google Play Devices and also some Moto Devices. Now OEM's are known to a little slow in giving an update to their devices, but it somehow looks like someones taking a step faster.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZHlId-TYDK4/U5x9NSSpUvI/AAAAAAAAAmA/63J1GDtMCAs/s1600/Galaxy-S5-and-Galaxy-S4-Android-4.4.3-600x340.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZHlId-TYDK4/U5x9NSSpUvI/AAAAAAAAAmA/63J1GDtMCAs/s1600/Galaxy-S5-and-Galaxy-S4-Android-4.4.3-600x340.png" height="362" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Rumors has it that Samsung is to update the Galaxy S5 this month to Android 4.4.3 and not only that, they are also going to update the Galaxy S4 next month. There has been no information on what to be changed or added on the update but it is for sure some fixes from Android 4.4.3 are there. Now it's not that long since Android 4.4.3 was released, and knowing OEM's it i expected that it will took at least months before they update their devices. Is Samsung starting to join the trend of fast updates? Well that would be good news, would other OEM's do the same thing if ever that Samsung pulls the quick update good?</span>Gerard Lardizabalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10189757963834878557noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699187977826369564.post-58697367471636747682014-06-12T08:53:00.000-07:002014-06-12T09:00:24.143-07:00Taiwanese Actor Jimmy Lin leaks iPhone 6<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The iPhone 6 rumors just wouldn't stop until it reaches it's official release date, now a more reliable leaked shows up!. Jimmy Lin, a Taiwanese Actor leaked the iPhone 5C last year, and now he's making a leak comeback with the iPhone 6.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The photo's shows that the iPhone 6 would actually have Two variants, a 4'7 inch and a 5'5 inch version. It is also noticeable that the devices has more curved sides Lin states that it improves the grip of the devices, though the aluminum body still gives it away. Also the Dual Led flash is now a goner and Apple went to a single one. The release date if the iPhone 6 is still very far and most likely we are to hear more leaks on the coming days.</span></div>

Now Google Now, offers a new service that would help a lot in a situation like this.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9z7jZIxZjlI/U5XPSM42bTI/AAAAAAAAAWw/B-2J7bWOVZo/s1600/google-now-wake-up-station.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9z7jZIxZjlI/U5XPSM42bTI/AAAAAAAAAWw/B-2J7bWOVZo/s1600/google-now-wake-up-station.png" height="400" width="225" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b><i>Google Now</i></b> now has the ability to wake you up on your next bus stop, train stop or any destination you are headed to. How does it work? Simple,</span><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 16px; line-height: 25.920000076293945px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">when the phone determines you are approaching your station, an alarm will go off, that may wake you up, caught your attention and remind you that you are about to go down. This amazing for people that wants to take a little nap, play games, watch a movie in you phone without you passing by your stop.</span></span></div>

Now somehow we now have an idea it what it would be.</span><br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The <i style="font-weight: bold;">Galaxy F </i> resembles the <i style="font-weight: bold;">Galaxy S5</i> a lot, the only difference would be is that it has a metallic back-plate and sports a 5'3 inch screen but fitted in the <i style="font-weight: bold;">Galaxy S5</i>'s frame. There has been no news on the official release date,specs or pricing.</span></div>

<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>

We try not to get any scratch on it, dust or even get it wet. But what would you do if your beloved Smartphone goes diving on the toilet?</span><div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-L9WyLWh0dH8/U5M5cJGGodI/AAAAAAAAAWI/aAfWXK3Sfrc/s1600/phoneonthetoilet.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-L9WyLWh0dH8/U5M5cJGGodI/AAAAAAAAAWI/aAfWXK3Sfrc/s1600/phoneonthetoilet.jpg" height="285" width="400" /></a></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Now the odds of your phone falling on the toilet would be very very low, but what would you actually do if it does happen? Probably the same as this man, A man from Jiangsu Province of China accidentally dropped his phone on a Squat Style toilet,in his panic trying to save the phone, he dived his hand to grab the phone and save it, getting his hand stuck deeply on the toilet. It took Six hours before he got separated on the toilet, and he got his phone back, probably the phone has problems now. What would you do if you are on this situation? Are you ready to get your hand stuck for your beloved phone?</span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The company first teased the device's back, containing the LED Light and Camera. It is noticeable that the back of the device is curved.</span></div>

There is this what look's like to be a capacitive home button indicated by a red circle, the sides of the device is metallic, there is also a dedicated camera key on the right side. It is very noticeable that the ZTE Nubia Z7 has similarity with the looks of the iPhone 5.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

And there has been recent rumors of a Project Tango Tablet is going to be released, now those rumors are now official.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 16px; line-height: 23px;"><br /></span></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-24ZPvAJjJtY/U5CoDo7odaI/AAAAAAAAATk/GsTp9PcPMeg/s1600/project-tango-tablet-640x362.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-24ZPvAJjJtY/U5CoDo7odaI/AAAAAAAAATk/GsTp9PcPMeg/s1600/project-tango-tablet-640x362.png" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 16px; line-height: 23px;">Now before you go "I'll go buy one!", this thing is not actually a consumer device, more on it is aimed to be a developer's kit, costing </span></span><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 23px;">$1,024. But with the high price,comes the top of the line specs we actually we wish to have on smartphones and tablets being released this year</span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 23px;"><br /></span>
<ul style="background-color: white; font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; left: 15px; line-height: 23px; position: relative;">
<li>NVIDIA Tegra K1 chipset with 192 GPU cores</li>
<li>4GB of RAM</li>
<li>7-inch display</li>
<li>128GB of internal storage</li>
<li>4G LTE (availability depends on region and carrier)</li>
<li>Bluetooth 4.0 LE</li>
<li>WiFi</li>
<li>Motion tracking camera</li>
<li>Integrated depth sensor</li>
<li>Android 4.4 KitKat</li>
</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 23px;">If the tablet is actually released as a consumer device, this would be the most powerful tablet being released as of now. You may <a href="https://www.google.com/atap/projecttango/#devices">sign up to get the developer device on Google's web site.</a> If you are going to Google's I/O event, the device may actually be a part of the Freebie parade, but for now, let's hope Google enlighten's us on what are the plans they have on the device.</span></span></div>

<br/>
<br/>
<a href='https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Zce9fDjeMhg/U47NMlJmIJI/AAAAAAAAASc/WDW8FrhONiY/s2560/1401867550487.jpeg' onblur='try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}'><img border='0' src='https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Zce9fDjeMhg/U47NMlJmIJI/AAAAAAAAASc/WDW8FrhONiY/s400/1401867550487.jpeg' style='display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;'/></a><br/>
<br/>
<br/>
As the changelogs says, Android 4.4.3 brings 7000+ updates and fixes to Android, though most of them are probably just byg fixes.<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
<a href='https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-kJBLRoyu1a4/U47NPhdN8cI/AAAAAAAAASk/NC6lbAUAGjo/s2560/1401867571130.png' onblur='try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}'><img border='0' src='https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-kJBLRoyu1a4/U47NPhdN8cI/AAAAAAAAASk/NC6lbAUAGjo/s400/1401867571130.png' style='display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;'/></a><br/>
<br/>
Most fixes are aimed for the Nexus 5, the updates fixed the problems on bluetooth for people who has encoutered it, also the popping sound being heard from play Flac files, Camera Improvements for the Nexus 5, improvements on wired handsets, Wi-Fi dropping issues and improvements to the new and to be implemented Android RunTime (ART). There are also Battery Improvements, LTE Performance improvements and LED Notifications fixes for Missed Calls.<br/>
<br/>
Now all of those are not Visible or UI Changes, but Google somehow at least shaken the UI little bit by improving the Dialer Application's User Interface.<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
<a href='https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-6hN0dMHLwOU/U47NQdRSwfI/AAAAAAAAASs/g2TYKsaCGkM/s2560/1401867581492.png' onblur='try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}'><img border='0' src='https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-6hN0dMHLwOU/U47NQdRSwfI/AAAAAAAAASs/g2TYKsaCGkM/s400/1401867581492.png' style='display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;'/></a><br/>
<br/>
<br/>
<a href='https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-mZbQTRM18VQ/U47NU8qj4uI/AAAAAAAAAS0/9CmDdBelX8I/s2560/1401867585610.png' onblur='try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}'><img border='0' src='https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-mZbQTRM18VQ/U47NU8qj4uI/AAAAAAAAAS0/9CmDdBelX8I/s400/1401867585610.png' style='display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;'/></a><br/>
<br/>
You would notice that the UI of the Dialer Application has somehow changed, there is the Mixture of the Old Holo Blue and the new Holo White, also the layout has been changed, The Speed Dial now has Full Sized Contact Pictures, also the animation of the Dialer was also changed to Fade.<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
<a href='https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-B3D-sgGp1ZI/U47NYZzh_vI/AAAAAAAAAS8/aqqY84N9jeU/s2560/1401867605969.png' onblur='try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}'><img border='0' src='https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-B3D-sgGp1ZI/U47NYZzh_vI/AAAAAAAAAS8/aqqY84N9jeU/s400/1401867605969.png' style='display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;'/></a><br/>
<br/>
The Contacts Application also recieved a little bit of UI improvements, Contacts that does not have a Contact Picture would now have the first letter of the contact's name as it's Picture,similar to Gmail's feature.<br/>
<br/>
There are a bunch of more fixes that Android has recieved, but for now, have you already recieved your update?</div>Gerard Lardizabalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10189757963834878557noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699187977826369564.post-30137314723854969212014-06-04T00:20:00.001-07:002014-06-04T00:20:04.594-07:00Google releases Android 4.4.3 Updates for Nexus 4,5,7,10,All Google Play Devices and the New Moto Devices<div xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'>Android fans has been always excited for a new release of Android, whether it's a Major or Minor upgrade. <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">There is no word about the Specs or if this is the Phone they teased awhile back,but they stated that the the Xperia T3 would be ultra-slim, so this could be the teased device that Sony first posted.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TYxJO-Ua0xA/U41poloGXSI/AAAAAAAAAPY/7Ue_6jOxIRA/s1600/sonyteaserjune2014.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TYxJO-Ua0xA/U41poloGXSI/AAAAAAAAAPY/7Ue_6jOxIRA/s1600/sonyteaserjune2014.jpg" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Sony tweeted on it's Twitter account a little tease of it's upcoming flagship device, and tweet says "</span><i style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-seirf; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.200000762939453px;">Shh… do you want to know a secret? Stay tuned for the next big thing this season</i><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">". together with a photo of the side of a thin and slim device.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">There is no official word on what the device would be or be called. And speculations states that it would be the Xperia Z2 Ultra, though that might be safe to assume due to that the Xperia Z Ultra is also launched around June last year. </span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8-P6jjHvIHc/U41oKrHR-UI/AAAAAAAAAPM/kMguV0E2V_k/s1600/jollaphone.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8-P6jjHvIHc/U41oKrHR-UI/AAAAAAAAAPM/kMguV0E2V_k/s1600/jollaphone.png" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It is expected that Jolla would not go that great since it is a new platform and a device, most consumers would not actually want to buy something that is still being developed. Now looks like Jolla want to win some more hearts by slashing off 50 to it's price tag and repricing it to </span><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; word-spacing: 2.5px;">€349. They also offer exchangeable covers known as <i style="font-weight: bold;">The other half</i> for </span><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; word-spacing: 2.5px;">€10 each.</span><br />
<h1 style="background-color: white; border: 0px; clear: both; font-weight: normal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 7px; vertical-align: baseline; word-spacing: 2.5px;">

<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dd5z2apQaWc/U4ygUpiqfmI/AAAAAAAAAO8/fJmjX_3Kqco/s1600/galaxyw2014.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dd5z2apQaWc/U4ygUpiqfmI/AAAAAAAAAO8/fJmjX_3Kqco/s1600/galaxyw2014.jpg" height="296" width="400" /></a></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The Galaxy W is actually a Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 with thinner bezels and a slimmer body, though it's that big, the Galaxy W is just a mid-range device, having a 1920X720 resolution, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2Ghz with 1.5Gb of RAM. The storage would be 16Gb and MicroSD support. The back camera would be 8MP and the front is 2MP. And all of that would be powered by a 3200mAh battery. Though you probably expecting the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, it's sad to say that this guy would be still stucked at Android 4.3 Jellybean.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The Galaxy W would be priced at 499,400 KRW ($487 in USA) and has a black,red and white color scheme.</span></div>

Having said the manufacturing dates, the September 19 release is actually becoming reality. There no word of from Apple if they would announce the iPhone 6 today at WWDC.</span>Gerard Lardizabalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10189757963834878557noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699187977826369564.post-1805453677605963672014-06-01T08:59:00.000-07:002014-06-01T08:59:39.037-07:00Nokia Lumia 638 becomes available for pre order in China<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Nokia (Microsoft Mobile should i say?) gives a quite and unnoticeable Lumia Phone release on China.</span><br />
